Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of XpenseIt ("the Service"), operated by AR Web Development & Media LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Description of Service

XpenseIt is a cloud-hosted expense tracking, invoicing, and mileage logging service. The Service runs on enterprise-grade data center infrastructure operated by us and located in the United States. We are not a financial institution, tax advisor, or accounting firm, and nothing in the Service constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice.

4. Subscription & Billing

Access to the Service requires a paid subscription after a 7-day free trial. Pricing, billing cycle, and payment terms are displayed at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you upload or create in the Service ("Your Data"). We do not sell, rent, or share Your Data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and backup of Your Data, and you may export it at any time using the built-in CSV and Excel export tools.

6. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate the AUP.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Danger Zone. Upon deletion, all Your Data (expenses, invoices, mileage records, receipts, and account information) is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems, including backups, within 30 days. This cannot be undone.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AR Web Development & Media LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in New Jersey.
